Junior Sailing Camp - Learn to Sail

Viridian Voyager's Sailing Camps are a fun, safe environment to learn the basics and more advanced skills of sailing. This one-week camp will teach kids ages 8-12 to sail using our fleet of dinghies and catamarans. Kids will make friends and have fun on the water while learning the parts of the boat, water safety, how the wind moves a sailboat, and how to rig and steer a sailboat. Our trained instructors will work with each camper, providing a hands-on experience where kids learn by doing. Graduates are eligible to purchase a Junior Sailing Pass to the Viridian Sailing Center and may be invited to join our Junior Racing Team.

Camps meet daily from 9-am-4pm (weather permitting). To ensure health and safety, camps will be limited to small groups. Participants should weigh at least 50 lbs. and be comfortable swimming at least 10 yards while wearing a life vest.
