Junior Sailing Camp - Learn to Sail + Optional Art Camp with Lindsay's Art Cart!

Beginner Sailing Camps feature hands-on, experience-based content that will create memories for years to come! This one-week camp will introduce kids ages 8-12 to sailing using our Opti fleet. Kids will make friends and have fun on the water while learning the parts of the boat, water safety, how the wind moves a sailboat, and how to rig and steer a sailboat. Our trained instructors will work with each camper, providing a hands-on experience where kids learn by doing. Campers who have completed this session are eligible to participate in Racing Camp as well as join our Junior Racing Team.

Camps meet daily from 9-am-12pm (weather permitting). To ensure health and safety, camps will be limited to small groups. Participants should weigh at least 50 lbs. and be comfortable swimming at least 10 yards while wearing a life vest.

We have the incredible opportunity this summer to partner with Lindsay's Art Cart! For parents looking for a full day camp option, this is for you! You can make this a full day of camp by taking advantage of the Junior Sailing Camp in the morning from 9am-noon and then letting your little one enjoy an afternoon of Art Camp with Lindsay's Art Cart from 12pm-5pm! Full day participants should bring a sack lunch. Instructors will escort children from the Sailing Center to the Regent Pavilion, where pick up will be at 5:00pm for full day participants.

Not interested in the art portion? No problem! Registration for both camps is separate just for this reason. You can choose to register for just the art or just the sailing portion of the day! If you decide to do both, make sure to register here for the Art Camp portion.
